About Sleek Body Brides/Sleek Body Boot Camp

Q. I don't want to : be outside or be screamed at, like the boot camps I see on tv.
A. Our boot camp is NOT like the reality tv shows. This is a group personal training experience. Sleek Body is held indoors. :) As for the screaming, no thank you. This is a positive zone. Everyone leaves feeling successful.
Q. Do I have to run in this boot camp?
A. No. No running in boot camp.If you want to run on your own time. That's ok too.
You can do both.
Q. What is the workout like?
A. Our training sessions are 45 minutes long and include, strength, cardio and pilates. You will burn 500-800 calories each session and will continue to burn for the next 24-36 hours. Every workout is different, so your muscles never get lazy. You'll see improvements in your fitness and body fast! You'll meet new friends and have fun too!
Q. How many days a week should I come?
A. We need you training 3-5 days. Many of our boot campers come for one hour and stay for a second. It's that much fun. You won't believe it until you try.
Q. I'm out of shape. I can't do pushups, etc. I have a bad knee...
A. Everyone has issues/ fears so try not to worry. We are your personal trainers so we know about your limitations, and your goals. You will be working out alongside people of different fitness levels. We show all levels of each move so everyone can do the workout. You will leave feeling successful!
Q. Why do I need/want private sessions?
A. We love training privates with our brides. You'll have extra attention showered on you and we'll have an opportunity hit those trouble areas on the Pilates equipment if you like. You don't have to commit to months of privates. We can add them in if need be as you get closer to your date. However, our private sessions are so addicting, you'll look forward to them.
Q. I have to travel out of town for some wedding events. What will I do about my workouts and eating?
A. We'll make sure you are prepared for your activities. You will have workouts that you can do where every you are. As for your eating, we'll help you stay on point but still enjoy your events without feeling deprived. Try not to worry!
Q. What if I can't do it? What if it doesn't work?
A. I love working with brides because they are very determined. Having a trainer will ensure that you will get to your goal. We are here to answer questions, talk you down, tweak your training, support and encourage you. You will be successful.
Q. Why should I get a trainer? I can workout by myself.
A. Getting a bride ready for her wedding is exactly like getting a Hollywood star ready for a movie role. There are deadlines, fittings, and the ultimate results has to be a certain look. If the wrong training techniques are used, the finished look may not be what you were looking for captured forever in your wedding album. :(
Q. I don't want to lift weights and get bulky.

A. We can do all of the above and more. The vision you have of your perfect day, includes how you see yourself in your gown. We use many training techniques to help you achive the look you want. Generic training techniques work for some people but I won't leave anything to chance when it comes to your wedding. We will make this happen and you will love your look.
Q. Do you have showers? ChildWatch? Cardio Equipment? Tanning?
A. St. Louis Fitness Club is amazing. We do have showers, and childcare for you for most boot camp trainings? Bridal Packages include all amenities and 24 hour access to STLFC that includes unlimited tanning! If you want to come in on your off time and workout, go for it.
Q. My fiance' won't let me have a trainer, he says I can workout in the basement on my, tredmill, dvds, etc.
A. Sigh, some grooms to be are just not in tune to how important our appearance is to us. It's great that he believes in you so much that he thinks you can do it on your own. One of the great things about Sleek Body Brides is we do the 'driving' for you. You have enough on your mind. Come train, do what we ask you to do and watch your body change.
Q. What happens after my wedding? Will I gain it all back? Can I keep coming?
A. Sleek Body Training is not a crash diet. You are shredding body fat but building beautiful lean muscle which is smaller, and more efficient than body fat. Bridal Fitness is NOT your life style or maintainance program. When you return from your honeymoon, we'll set new goals for you in Sleek Body Boot Camp.
